Responsibilities

Work Location: Kinston, NC
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and direct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) organizations and provides cross-functional NDT integration leadership.
- Manager of NDT personnel in multiple buildings, across multiple shifts.
- Lead and direct NDT technicians (Spirit direct, contractors or purchased services).
- Establishes, overseas, and administers processes, policies, and best practices, and determines resource requirements, acquisition, improvement plans and quality measures.
- Interfaces with other organizations, customers, and regulatory agencies to define, evaluate and communicate accomplishment of project and program priorities through all phases in the product or service lifecycle.
- Provides organizational vision and strategic plan, processes, and procedures, as well as process improvements and prevention measures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years Management / Leadership experience.
- NDT experience in Aerospace or a Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable with NDT practices (Ultrasonic, Phased Array, Pulse Echo).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively work multiple simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills working cross functionally across teams.
- Analytical, demonstrates ability to deconstruct requirements and prioritize accordingly.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- A focus on continuous improvement, Root Cause Corrective Action process knowledge.
- MS Office Suite skills.
- Working knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP or other customer requirements.
