OnsiteCollins Aerospace is looking to hire an Operations Program Manager to support our team in Everett, WA. In this role you will take ownership of high-impact projects, guiding them from initiation through to successful delivery. Youll ensure on-time performance while meeting or exceeding both operational cost targets and customer expectations. Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary interface between Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations
- Lead cross-functional Operational teams to identify and resolve program deficiencies
- Provide direction to Operational functional organization
- Collaborate with bid team to support new product introduction and provide constructive feedback for any areas of improvement
- Ensure spaneting handoff of proposal assumptions aligned with program deliverables
- Validate statement of work to the bid is on scope and within our schedule constraints
- Review IPT checklist to verify program goals and objectives are being met
- Assist in establishing an integrated program schedule
- Ensure early engagement of suppliers and identify long lead items to meet production schedule
- Work closely with engineering and will have influence on design for cost and design for manufacturing
- Support development of an integrated schedule, working through the phase gate process, early problem identification, and tracking performance with the IPT leadership team
- Integrate customer and quality requirements essential to the program
- Utilize the CMS (Collins Management System) process to ensure program health and sustainability
- Utilize CORE improvement process to drive cost reduction, standardization, and improved performance across all programs
- Engage in SIOP planning to drive both proper demand and supply
- Communicate information both verbally and in writing clearly and concisely
- Manage multiple, complex projects with changing priorities
- Summarize program status to the Executive staff
- Recommend high level make vs. buy decisions and financial justification
- Track performance to cost targets for Materials and Manufacturing direct labor
- Track risks and opportunities against your programs
- Coordinate Engineering change management and mitigation plans
- Ensure on time execution of product build and customer shipments
- General knowledge of FAA regulations, customer specifications, and customer requirements
- Support customer meetings as needed ( ITCM/PDR/CDR/FAI)
- Support customer during the modification of the aircraft
- Ensure lessons learned from current programs are carried forward into new products and programs
- Travel may be required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Profession (PMP) certification
- Experience with Continuous/Process Improvement
- Experience within the Aerospace industry
- SAP/ERP Experience
- Experience in transferring work to a best cost country
- Background in international trade compliance

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
