This is an AWW (Alternative Work Week) 5th shift position.
What You Will Do:
This position will be responsible for supervising a group of hourly employees in a Manufacturing Operations environment including: allocating work and assigning manpower and a strong leadership and focus for ACE, FOD, Quality, EH&S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and direction with emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and change.
- Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities ensuring commitments are met in a timely manner
- Work proactively to address issues and engage the workforce in achieving cell goals
- Communicate to peers requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow
- Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship
- Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure all equipment is kept in good clean working order
- Keep current on status and recent developments in the plant / industry / profession
- Coach and develop through motivating, encouraging and challenging, delegate effectively, provide feedback
- Consistently deal with employees using tact and diplomacy, administer disciplinary actions fairly
- Ensure full involvement in CORE continuous improvement initiatives – utilize CORE tools to improve production, performance and reduce scrap, rework and repair
- Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
- Promote corporate code of ethical standards and business practice and company policies
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred / 2+ years related experience (comparable combination of education & experience will be considered)
- Demonstrated leadership skills; direct supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles (lean manufacturing, CORE, QCPC)
- Proven written/verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels
- Excellent customer service skills required providing a high level of service to satisfy/fulfill internal or external needs accurately in a timely manner
- Organized/ detail-oriented, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
