What does this role look like?
Provide leadership to the Program Planning and Documentation Group by ensuring that high quality planning and operations analyses are delivered in a timely manner. Areas of responsibility include Program Planning, Production Planning, Documentation Control and overseeing the daily responsibilities of the SWFLANT Integrator. Program Planning functions include development and status of production plans and schedules, Service Life Evaluation (SLE) coordination and status, project management support, rate and capacity analysis, weekly and monthly schedule metrics, and independent assessment of LM-SWFLANT production activities. Functions also include analysis of long-range missile and support equipment requirements, risk and opportunity coordination, and SWFLANT Change Directives (SCDs)/What-Ifs. Production Planning functions include providing products required to meet all SWFLANT pre-DD250 manufacturing and production processing quality, design, schedule and contract requirements, support of Demand Management programming requirements, data system requirements development and implementation, problem resolution and processing improvements. Documentation Control functions and Technical Data Center (TDC) functions include providing change control for missile processing and D5 contractor and support equipment, coordination of Document Requests for investigation (DRFIs), review and update of local and nonlocal documents and support for all audits, inspections and assessments.
Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Kings Bay, GA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from an accredited college,
• 5 years professional experience,
• You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Please note:
No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start.
Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Prior coded leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) imperatives,
• Knowledge of SWFLANT processing operations
• Knowledge of FBM production and manufacturing operations
• Experience in leading special projects
• Green Belt certified
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
