As a Principal Configuration Manager, youll provide comprehensive configuration management in accordance with ITIL 4 standards, DoD Army directives (e.g., AR 25-2), and broader government guidance, ensuring accurate tracking of configuration items (CIs) to enable reliable service operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include capturing and maintaining detailed attributes and relationships of configuration items, maintaining and optimizing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and developing and enforcing configuration control processes.
