Roles & Responsibilities

CAEu2019s Civil Flight Services team is looking for a strong & self-driven Product Manager to help grow our products in the optimization and data driven space. The Contributor Product Manager will report to the Principal Product Manager.

The Contributor Product Manager will assist in the execution of our long-term strategy and driving the go-to-market plan. Will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive prioritization and enhancements to the product.

Build strong relationships with customers to understand customer perspective and ensure features are meeting market needs. Have clear business and technical requirements with scalability, stability, and security in mind.

Assist with prioritization of upcoming releases by working closely with Sales, Delivery and Care teams. Manage tactical product planning and priorities of customer issues. Assist with creating marketing material and sales material. Participate in RFP responses and investment planning activities. Collaborate with cross functional teams including product marketing, engineering, professional services, customer support and external customers to ensure products are differentiated from competitors in the marketplace.

An ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong strategic and technical background. Any prior aviation or product management background is desirable.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, computer science or related computer field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management
  • Strong strategic and technical background
  • Ability to work and partner effectively with other teams.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
  • Exceptional communications skills with the ability to articulate product and business relationships and their benefits.
  • Self-starter and resourceful individual who can overcome obstacles and is comfortable working in fast paced environment.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities, conditions, and copes effectively with complexity and change.
  • Prior experience in the aviation industry preferred, for a shorter learning curve
  • Ability to travel 20 to visit international customers and conferences.
