Delta Air Lines is seeking a visionary and strategic Product Manager to lead the development of a newly formed product team within our Marketing Technology and Innovation organization. This team will be responsible for delivering state-of-the-art spaneting capabilities, developing and maintaining product roadmaps, and establishing product-centric ways of working to enhance Delta’s spaneting initiatives.
As the Product Manager for Marketing Technology, you will be at the forefront of driving spaneting innovation, collaborating across Marketing, IT, Digital, and other key teams to deliver impactful solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of Delta’s spaneting technology, ensuring our tools and platforms are optimized to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support business growth. Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead a high-performing product team focused on delivering transformative spaneting capabilities while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development and execution of a strategic product roadmap for spaneting technology capabilities, ensuring alignment with Delta’s business goals and customer experience objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, IT, Digital, and external partners to identify and prioritize spaneting capability opportunities that drive business outcomes and enhance customer engagement.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmaps, and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product lifecycle
  • Oversee the end-to-end spaneting technology product development process, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Prioritize product features, enhancements, and integrations based on business impact, user needs, and strategic alignment, ensuring that the most valuable initiatives are delivered first.
  • Lead retrospectives and other continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging insights and feedback to refine product development processes and team performance.
  • Ensure that product solutions are scalable, secure, and deliver a seamless user experience, leveraging Delta’s technology ecosystem.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in spaneting technology and product management, evaluating their potential impact on Delta’s spaneting capabilities and driving innovation.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on spaneting technology or related digital products.
  • Proven experience in building and leading product teams, with a track record of delivering successful technology products in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of spaneting technology platforms (e.g. spaneting personalization and automation, workflow management, asset management, data management platforms) and their application in large-scale organizations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate product vision and strategy to diverse audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
