What You Will Be Doing
• Manage and oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and overall organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies, maintaining a secure and efficient workplace.
• Develop and implement operational systems to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of warehouse personnel, fostering an environment focused on operational excellence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, minimize stockouts and excess inventory, and implement best practices for inventory management.
• Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to optimize warehouse processes.
• Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse procedures to ensure operational excellence.

• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in warehouse management.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in warehouse management, supply chain management, or logistics in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, &/or other technology solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
Desired Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, supply chain management, or logistics in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and managing a team of warehouse personnel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in the aerospace and defense industry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ability to prepare and communicate professionally with outside sources in Teams meetings on several issues affecting this site. Parts, transportation, tool crib supplies.
• Manage inventory and aid in communicating with buyers to expedite orders for supplies necessary to support production needs for items controlled by the tool crib.
• Aerospace Manufacturing Experience in Production Environments.
• C-130, F-16, F-35, C-5, P-3, or C-130 Experience.
• Green Belt Lean Six Sigma.
• Quality Control.
• Experience managing in a unionized environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
