The Production Hardware Control Account Manager is responsible for the planning, reporting and execution of contracted scopes of work assigned to the F135 Production Chief Control Account Management team. Responsibilities may include serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for labor or production hardware accounts.
What you will do:
Upon contract award, the Production Hardware Control Account Manager establishes baseline plans which includes budgets and schedules for production engines and labor projects as appropriate.
The Production Hardware Control Account Manager also interfaces with the following internal and external stakeholders to manage the F135 production hardware accounts to meet cost, schedule, and quality requirements: P&W Program Offices, Joint Program Office (JPO), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Industrial Leads, Production Chiefs, Component Integrated Product Team Leads, Manufacturing Operations Leads, Earned Value (EV) Analysts, Integrated Master Scheduling Analysts, and the Supply Chain Organization .
The Production Hardware Control Account Manager assesses the progress and quality of work for assigned accounts, prepares an estimate at completion (EAC), submits updates to the Master Schedule, evaluates variances, performs risk analysis, documents risk and mitigation plans, creates variance explanations, and recommends appropriate corrective actions utilizing EVMS / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tools within the required monthly business cycle requirements.
Participates in critical program communication meetings such as the Monthly Program Review (MPR) and EAC Reviews to communicate issues / changes / risks / opportunities, as well as other budget reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Review For Cause (RFC) audits; work may include preparing proposal Basis of Estimate (BOE) input and supporting review of BOEs, Statements of Work (SOW), and contract changes.
The Production Hardware Control Account Manager is expected to drive continuous improvement in the application of EV/IMS tools and processes by applying process improvement tools to solve complex problems and improve efficiency, by reporting turn backs, and by investigating root causes and identifying corrective actions.
Qualifications you must have:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment or a Masters degree and minimum 3 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment
Prior account management or earned value experience

This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
