Description:You will be a Production Operations Manager for the Camden Operations team. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Production Operations Manager, you will manage team leaders of multiple programs and
production areas and work with all functional support in Camden Operations to achieve various objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Ensure production schedules are met for all areas reporting to this role.
•Maintain 100 performance for all areas reporting to this role.
•Ensure PMT metrics are met for all areas reporting to this role in the following areas: Team Defects, Notice of Audit surveillance (NAS) Findings-0, Compliance Audit Performed-4 per month, Escapes-0.
•Meet PMT Cost & Savings metrics: Maintain medal level cost metrics for Scrap & Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging.
•Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
•Develop and implement strategies to reduce overtime (Example, work with support functions to share support functions with other production teams requiring overtime).
•Ensure reporting areas are up to date on all required training, Maintain SPA Special Process Authorizations.
•Ensure all areas maintain appropriate level of tour readiness through 6S process controls and regular housekeeping.
•Raise energy awareness and develop / implement plans to reduce energy usage in the production areas.
•Manage day to day activities of assigned personnel up to and including discipline for poor job performance.
•Champion PMT meetings and processes by providing necessary support to team leaders in reporting areas, regularly attending meetings, and setting goals for PMTs.
•Focus on and drive continuous improvement and team engagement through all aspects of management.
•Responsible for ensuring production staffing plans for reporting areas are up to date and managed within given program budgets.
•Responsible for creating a flexible workforce through cross training of employees to fill needs in multiple production areas.
•Maintains a regular working relationship with Product Leads and Managers to ensure production efforts are supporting overarching program needs.
•Establishes the strategic vision for operations in each production area and is responsible for ensuring all employees within their functional unit understand align with, and drive to achieve that vision daily. Strategic vision should align and support both Sr. Functional and Product Management’s vision for each program area

Basic Qualifications:
Previous experience managing multiple product lines.
Previous experience developing production staffing plans.
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Production schedule proficiency.
Understanding of production flow.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
