Roles and Responsibilities
- Requires strong commercial awareness, customer acumen and ability to work in a highly dynamic commercial market environment.
- Customer-facing role with product line ownership & accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Responsible for the full lifecycle of the product from development through production through aftermarket/services/field support supporting airframers, operators, lessors, end-use customers including energy companies, country MoDs, VVIPs and more.
- Manages CT7 TrueChoice lessor book of business, which includes supporting the unique needs of lessors in the super-medium/heavy commercial helicopter market.
- Leads strategy development for the product including long-term planning, marketing & sales campaigns, and contributing to the overall commercial business strategy. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. - Manages complex issues by identifying, developing and managing with lean processes to meet all business and financial metrics and deliverables.
- Designs novel and creative win-win solutions for the business and customers while managing within existing business constraints.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns &/or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with enterprise &/or customer resources, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others on particular topics. May guide others, including customers, to consider a different point of view.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in the Product Management & Product Manager. Knowledge level is comparable to a Masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Minimum of 5 years experience with established project management skills leading programs/ projects with limited oversight, including ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
