Job Description SummaryThe Military Contract Performance Manager for F110 services demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. This role primarily ensures customer satisfaction while meeting revenue, profit, and cash expectations associated with the assigned services program(s). This role owns budgets and operating plans, integrates and develops processes to meet business needs across the organization, and manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise. Uses in depth knowledge of Middle Eastern culture and Arabic language skills as well as high levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen to achieve desired outcomes.Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- All contract performance related activities, particularly performance to customer as well as program revenue, profit, and cash.
- Monitor performance to customer as well as program revenue, profit, and cash. Lead timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the program. Perform proposal negotiation and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts. Function as the liaison with the customer on services program matters.
- Lead others to find creative solutions within complex processes. Employ sophisticated operational and product management techniques. Interact with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Ability to evaluate quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis. Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Develop expertise in own function. Include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. Influence policy and ensure delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process. Contribute to development of business unit strategic plans.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Present business or technical solutions to senior leadership. Communicate complex messages and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
- Present to top leadership within customer organization and business unit (Senior Executive, Vice President)
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be a US citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or operations from an accredited university or college
- At least 5 years of experience in customer or program management
- Ability to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.
- Ability to travel internationally 20-30
Desired Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience managing long-term customer service agreements
- Strong understanding of U.S. military organizations, logistics and supply processes
- Extensive experience working in a customer facing role
- Knowledge of long term accounted contract margin reviews
- Demonstrated experience working in the Middle East
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern culture.
- Strong Arabic language proficiency
