Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking an experienced Program Operations Manager (POM) in support of the LADS SBU and PF&M SSBU for a program located in Tucson, AZ. The POM position is the primary interface between the Program Office Integrated Program Leadership Team and the Factory Leadership Team, responsible for communicating all Program requirements. This Individual will collaborate with Program Management and be the liaison to ensure that all program needs are integrated and supported to meet program commitments. Results will be accomplished through leading, influencing and briefing across all levels of the organization, including internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in technical, program and manufacturing leadership roles to support a Land & Air Defense Systems program on a PF&M program located in the Tucson, AZ location. Successful candidate will drive the overall management and participation in all phases of program development from capture and proposals thru development, execution, and close-out.
This position is an onsite role.
What You Will Do:
Lead, collaborate and influence driving quality and performance for program deliverables, accountable for factory integration, consolidated program performance, and unique program requirements flow down
Participate in strategic Program/Operations planning for current production performance and future development efforts, and utilize CORE best practices
Support Operational Security (OPSEC) plan(s) execution and influence future security strategies
Communicate across programs, to identify, assess, collaborate and resolve any conflicts with program requirements
Define clear operational schedules, priorities and goals for each Strategic Make Center
Operations point of contact for proposal development and approval, ensuring proposed costs or challenges are understood by Operations leadership and factories
Coordinate and develop operations requirements for all gate reviews and execute proposed strategies from early gate reviews for effective implementation in future production.
Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
Ownership of the Program’s Operations EAC and budget
Prepare and present information for Monthly Management Reviews, summarizing program status and any on-going production issues
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Previous program manufacturing experience in a DOD environment
Understanding of manufacturing tool sets and how to leverage information from material receipt through DD250 within a defense contracting organization.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including but not limited to SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES
EVMS Certification
Experience in capital planning (development), MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) Assessments, Make/Buy/Where process.
CORE/Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience
Knowledge of using IPDS (Integrated Product Development System) and create and manage a complex IMS using Microsoft Project processes.
Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility
Experience and Interest in verbal/visual presentations of Operations activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and Program-level information to internal and USG customers.
Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP) reviews and approval via common Product Data Management (PDM)
Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing.
Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive a results and breakdown barriers.
Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams
Experience leading teams in cost reduction initiatives and manufacturing cycle time reduction

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
