What You Will Be Doing
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects, acting as the primary liaison between project management, planning teams, and line management.
• Monitor project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare detailed status reports to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress.
• Identify and assess project issues, developing timely resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
• Implement mechanisms to track project progress, collaborate with project teams, line managers, and clients to resolve challenges and keep the project on course.
• Work independently with minimal direction, making informed decisions and applying best practices to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, techniques, and standards to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Who You Are
• A detail-oriented project manager with experience overseeing the operational aspects of complex projects, ensuring successful completion on time and within budget.
• Skilled in managing project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
• A proactive problem solver with the ability to identify project issues and develop effective solutions to maintain productivity and quality.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment and decision-making in the execution of projects.
• An expert in project management methodologies, contributing to the improvement of processes and standards within the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience driving project outcomes while maintaining positive team dynamics.
• Experience prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines based on schedule timelines and project requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing and production methodologies, with a strong understanding of operational best practices.
• Hands-on experience in scheduling, planning, production control, shipping, and contract management.
Desired Skills:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Considered an emerging authority in project management, with a track record of successful project execution.
• Demonstrated skills in communication, collaboration, and team building, effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams.
•Knowledgeable in SAP ERP platforms, Master Scheduling, and Procurement.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Project)
•Previous Lockheed Martin experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
