- Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance management of aircraft program or project management experience consisting of at least five years of experience directly managing aircraft maintenance operations.
- Possess a combination of management ability and leadership qualities and be customer-oriented.
- Knowledgeable of NAVAIR contracts and become familiar with the requirements of the contract and PWS.
- Must be willing to travel
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds independently.
- Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
- Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, including working overhead. The position requires sitting and/or standing at workbenches and wire boards 99% of the day.
- Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line.
- Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties.
- If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
- If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours.
- If required must be able to perform confined space activities.
- Position requires repetitive hand use using wire cutters, crimpers, etc.
- Travel may be required.
