I have a project manager-type role located in Ohio that is currently scheduled for 3 years. The job should pay in the $50-55/hr range.

- The successful Project Manager will require advanced computer/software skills to prepare complex charts, tables, and graphs in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. This will require skills like advanced use of pivot tables and formulas in Excel.
- The individual will have experience with Open plan, and EVM.
- The individual will possess excellent people skills and will have some experience as a manager with direct reports, as she or he will facilitate meetings, communicate/flow down and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, follow up with owners of key program actions, and interface with technical, financial, legal, and management personnel on issue resolution and action/project completion.
- The Program Manager will have the skill and confidence to tackle new and diverse projects, will seek the necessary expertise/guidance, will assimilate the required knowledge quickly, and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing assigned projects on time.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership for CIP product improvement and sustainment support projects.
- Define business/project-related technical and program requirements with both internal and external customers.
- Recommend strategy and direction for projects and for the CIP Program that support both day-to-day operations and long-term business, financial, and Customer delivery requirements/goals.
- Manage the development of cost, pricing, schedule, and risk data for projects and product improvements.
- Ensure timely implementation and completion of projects.
