We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Chicago(ORD)!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a liaison to government entities, customers and other contractors as necessary.
- At direction of leadership, responds to any government agency request or inquiry on behalf of the operation.
- Be on call to provide regulatory guidance to the Leadership Team overseeing AOG and recovery activities.
- Monitor updates to federal and international regulatory requirements.
- Assist in reviewing and updating procedures of the repair station/quality control manual.
- Review and update supplemental manuals and standard operating procedures as applicable.
- Act as point of contact for customers for FAA, NAA and other regulatory agency inquiries or audits of the company records or facilities.
- Assist with oversight of the company internal/external audit and surveillance program as defined in the repair station/quality control manual and other company policies and procedures.
- Identify systemic problems with respect to policies and procedures and report deficiencies.
- Initiate and coordinate investigations, audits corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Review audit findings and investigation reports to ensure root cause and root cause corrections are properly identified and addressed.
- Monitor the maintenance operation on a random basis to ensure the proper procedures and paperwork are being utilized.
- Analyze and perform trend analysis on regulatory correspondence and audit items.
- Maintain and present timely and accurate metrics for identified quality KPI's.
- Provide recommendations to management for process improvements.
- Perform safety risk analysis functions as applicable.
- Actively drive and support the company's QMS, SMS and assist the Director of Quality in matters related to the quality of programs, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with aviation quality assurance and regulatory compliance in aviation.
- Thorough knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145, 121 and EASA regulations.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- A&P License strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to our other stations on occasion.
