Position Summary
Lead and support the system design requirements for the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management functions within SAP. This involves creating standard processes and related training materials to ensure consistency in SAP deployments across the enterprise. This role will be responsible for the creation, management, revision control, and training documentation for SAP Engineering and Quality-related business processes that support plant operations.
Essential Functions:
Work directly with the technical team to develop, evaluate, and test the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control processes based on divisions business requirement.
Leverage experience, user validation, and testing to ensure all processes meet operational requirements.
Manage incidents (INC) to ensure they are addressed and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
- Review to identify root causes and lead the development of change requests as needed.
Oversee the RITM (change request) process to ensure configurations align with business process needs across the enterprise.
- Create Key Design Decisions for approval.
- Establish technical support priorities and schedule accordingly.
- Ensure all testing meets design requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation, revision control, and communication/training regarding changes that impact users.
Manage and write all Business Process Documents, including revision control.
Lead the development of training requirements for deployments and ensure adequate training materials are available for new users.
Adhere to the SAP ERP strategy, demonstrating solid knowledge of SAP functionality and parallel systems throughout the project.
Influence peers and executives across organizational lines to support global strategic initiatives and process changes for implementation efficiencies.
Plan and design strategic systems and processes to achieve Parker Win strategy objectives, including global dashboards and reporting tools.
Actively engage and communicate with corresponding division and group functional teams to proactively respond to changing business requirements, managing change projects to successful completion on time and within budget.
Identify additional improvement opportunities within current business processes and lead the development, presentation, and successful adoption of the business case.
Qualifications
Minimum four year technical or business degree
5+ Years Manufacturing Engineer, Operation, or Quality Engineering Experience
SAP Implementation Experience a Plus
Strong change management and conflict resolution skills
2+ years of experience leading cross functional project team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and lead effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to travel up to 25 of the time.
