Job Description:
An opportunity for an Supply Chain and Quality Manager has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the Supply Chain and Quality.
RESPONSABILITIES
• Implementing Procurement strategy defined by MFT (incl. supplier development)
• Defining couple Product/Supplier site surveillance decision tree and supplier surveillance plan
• Lead and verify couple compliance to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors
• On Time and on Quality deliveries
• Raising risks, actions follow-up, reporting and escalation in case on deviation to industrial target (incl. in-service issues)
• Identifying activities to be delegated to SCQS
• Supply Chain and Quality contribution to the MFT
• Contribute to Engage Suppliers (SO.ES)
o Contribute to feedback on Sub-Commodity strategy recommendation
o Contribute to supplier selection and contract setup (customization of Airbus applicable requirements and procedural documents, Logistic conditions,...)
o Contribute to Change Request evaluation
o Contribute to deployment of SC&Q standards, methods & tools (APQP, AirSupply, eConcessions,...)
o Contribute to supplier contract/claims management (incl. evolution of requirements, processes, tools)
• Secure Supplier Approval and Run Supplier Control Review (SO.CS.02.01)
o Assess, pronounce supplier approvability/approval (including ICOP scheme) and perform SCR
o Contribute to supplier segmentation, identify development needs
While remaining accountable, the job holder can delegate after his management validation complex/critical quality topics management (described in the two next chapters ‘SO.CS.02.02’ & ’.03’) to SCQS.
• Manage Couple Part (or Service)/Supplier site Compliance and Maturity (SO.CS.02.02)
o Manage couple surveillance decision tree and associated couple surveillance plan
- Collect inputs, strategy and SC&Q objectives for the product (or family)
- Establish, share and archive surveillance decision tree (cf. Appendix A of A2135.2B or APQP decision tree), and initiate correspondingly risks portfolio
- Establish, share surveillance plan and seek decision from management
o Verify Compliance to applicable requirements and secure convergence to industrial Maturity target (supplier capability & capacity)
o Steer couple surveillance plan
- Assess results of actions
- Record in the corresponding tool the confidence level vs the target
- Report, escalate issues
- Update risks portfolio and adjust surveillance plan
• Secure Supplier Deliveries (SO.CS.02.03)
o Get visibility on all supplier delivery facts (incl. CnQ)
o Consolidate and analyse the supplier performance picture
o Protect Airbus production units and avoid recurrence of supplier issues (incl. In-Service issues)
- with above mentioned means when relevant
- with root cause analysis and eradication (8D/9S, PPS,...)
• Manage Manufacturing Non Conformance (MC.QU.02)
o Manage Non Conformity Notification
o Manage Concession
- Challenge the need and content of the concession
- Ensure signature of Quality task
o Manage Quality Survey Report
Manage Safety in Production(SARI) (MC.PS. 07) and Events (M1012.2)
The job holder has to support internal and external audits and EASA activities.
Skills :
- University degree in Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality
- English :Fluent
- Spanish :Fluent
- French Knowledge should be a plus for this position
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Willingness to travel
