Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified Personnel Manager to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide personnel program support.
- Provide continuity and provide technical support to the Command concerning all areas of the assessment process and Human Resources.
- Provide feedback and requested information (training records, scores, etc) regarding the selection of qualified Commissioned and Warrant Officers.
- Ensure accuracy and manage Commissioned and Warrant Officer data entry and tracking from the Assessment Packet through Officer Green Platoon graduation complete.
- Coordinate complex event scheduling for assessment weeks and coordinate formal assessment boards.
- Evaluate, research, analyze procedures and historical data to ensure best assessment practices for the Command. The Government will make all final decisions regarding Commission Officer and Warrant Officer assessments.
- Coordinate directly with assignment managers at Army Human Resources Command and Commanders within 160th SOAR (A).
- Serve as a liaison between the 160th SOAR (A) and USAREC Special Operations Recruiters. The Government will make all final assignment decisions.
- Provide administrative support (scheduling, coordinating, providing feedback) for interviews, assessments, and written examinations.
- Assist in carrying out projects, or portions of broader studies to resolve controversial issues or problems.
- Analyze military HR management issues and develop recommendations and alternative solutions.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of two years in human resources or military personnel experience like an Army Human Resources Specialist (Army MOS 42A or another military branch equivalent) providing HR support and services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software such as MS Word, MS Access, etc
- Minimum of three years human resources or military personnel experiences.
- Training in military human resources transactions (IPSS-A, milConnect, DEERS, SGLI/SGOE, DD93, EES, iPERMS, AIM 2, DAPMIS, RUBIX).

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $94500 to $175500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
