Position
Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety this position will be responsible for upholding our standardized security and access framework across multiple sites; including active manufacturing, warehousing, office space and storage areas. The Security Compliance Lead will be accountable for all security infrastructure and associated programs.

Key accountabilities
- Act as the primary security contact for the organization.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and update access control standards, guidelines and protection programs.
- Directly support the Travel Risk Management program (ISOS) and advise managers and employees with respect to security and safety concerns.
- Develop and communicate the results of internal security risk assessments and audits to executive management and appropriate stakeholders to enable risk-based decision-making.
- Define, establish, monitor, and analyze key risk indicators and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Support all security systems and equipment including installations, maintenance and upgrades (intrusion detection, CCTV and access control).
- Develop and implement loss control procedures specific to business continuity and emergency response.
- Provide support and training to the De Havilland team and other management members on investigations and incident reporting.
- Conduct internal criminal and liability investigations. Liaise with appropriate agencies on external investigations as required.
- Support the advancement of security budgets for the organization based on identified risk.
- Ensure all staff are trained in the use of any required security systems and educated on De Havilland procedures.
- Develop, implement, and monitor all internal reporting systems specific to corporate security.
- Provide support to internal teams specific to operational readiness and effective emergency response preparedness.
- Develop, in conjunction with EHS group, emergency response plans, policies, procedures, and training.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Security and Safety.
- Experience supporting Health & Safety programs is an asset.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation required.
- Prior experience in developing and implementing corporate security and safety programs is a must.
- Prior experience with Restricted Airside Access Programs, Facility Security Design and Operational Readiness is required.
- In depth knowledge of camera systems and access control platforms is required.
- Experience working in diverse unionized environments is an asset.
