The Interiors Global Trade Export Compliance Manager is responsible for building close working relationships and proactively working with the business value stream leaders/teams and other functional areas to provide strategic Global Trade (GT) guidance in support of business objectives/programs while maintaining compliance with all applicable GT regulations and company policies and procedures. This position will partner closely with Interiors Value Stream leaders and other functional areas to understand program objectives, provide guidance regarding GT regulations, establish an authorization/technology transfer plan, and ensure plan execution to allow business requirements to be realized.
As a Global Trade Export Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Collins Global Trade Program (training, policies, processes, implementation & metrics); using digital technology and physical safeguards to manage transfers compliantly and efficiently; ensuring compliant transfers of physical goods and intangible items; sanctions and embargo compliance and addressing regulatory and policy violations to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement; working with local site leadership to embed GT requirements into standard work for functional areas; managing and mitigating risks to ensure Interiors GT compliance posture is in good health. This role also includes responsibilities for leading and managing projects related to authorizations and global trade.

What You Will Do:
- Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions
- Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS
- Deployment of the Collins and Interiors Global Trade policies and procedures
- Review and disposition of GTS and other ERP system blocks, Visitor Management requests, TEXPORT requests, International Travel Workflow, and other workflows as required
- Assists with regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas: Anti-boycott/Restrictive Trade Practices, Export Control Classification, Compliance training, Export Documentation, Tariff Classification (HTS), Sanctions and Embargoes
- Support GT Regulatory Compliance investigations
- Export Licensing (EAR/ITAR), managing and drafting of export licenses, training, administrative activities
- Develop and implement Global Trade related communications and process improvements
- Assists with audits to assess the export/import compliance and in determining and implementing corrective actions where necessary
- Support development and delivery of formal and informal Global Trade training
- Review of transactions under Collins Sanctions policy
- Additional Global Trade activities assigned by a direct or indirect Global Trade manager
- Work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing tasks and making decisions autonomously.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Working knowledge of the U.S. GT regulations including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Understanding of US Customs regulations
- Experience of interpreting and managing policies and procedures
- Experience developing and implementing standard work
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Aerospace (program/technical) experience
- Project or program management experience
- Working SAP/GTS Knowledge of export transactions (sales & distribution)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred
- Leadership experience

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
