About the role:
- Primary task is providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- Analysts examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
- Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
- May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
Position will be the lead for the LPD program, managing all LPD team members for all hulls and financial products. Tasks include, but are not limited to: execution planning and analysis, funding document preparation, and execution tracking and reconciliation. Will assist in the analysis and supporting justification material in support of preparing budget exhibits. Will provide financial input for LPD briefings and reports. Will assist in the development and documentation of procedures, and will ensure team follows LPD processes and procedures.
