The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated leader to join our Sustainment Operations Supply Chain team. This role is pivotal in executing critical logistics functions and leading the team responsible for sustaining the Super Hornet and Growler fleet of aircraft for the Royal Australian Air Force at RAAF Base Amberley.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution across a multi-disciplined team of highly skilled and motivated individuals
- Act as the central point of contact for all program logistics deliverables.
- Act as 2IC to program Logistics Support Manager
- Integrate outcomes across Logistics team and more broadly Product Support / co-ordinate across other ACEA Sustainment Program teams
- Nurture and promote a culture of continuous improvement and productivity by identifying opportunities in current established practice.
- Enable collaboration across teams to identify and leverage commonalities, innovation and efficiencies.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes

Experience/Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of logistics and procurement requirements in a military or commercial aviation environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading medium size teams to achieve business goals
- Ability to obtain or currently holds an NV1 security clearance
- Experience within a multifunctional team within a matrix organisation (desirable)
