We are looking for a Facilities Senior Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility management operations in Richmond, Texas. The Facilities Senior Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities, including maintenance, safety, security, and environmental compliance. We focus on secure communications. In addition, we have service and support facilities strategically positioned to meet our customers needs.

This role will be performed Onsite at our Collins Aerospace location in Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do:

Leads a team of facilities professionals consisting of Professional & Bargaining Union employees engaged in planning, organizing, and scheduling for maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities to ensure proper upkeep of the organizations facilities and equipment.

  • Set up all building required inspections and facilities records for audit purposes
  • Manages building infrastructure projects
  • Oversees expense budget and equipment capital
  • Oversees Maintenance Work-order Request ticketing process
  • Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
  • Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
  • Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment.
  • Builds relationship and contracts with vendors providing services including skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment, to ensure that operational objectives are met.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Licensed Electrical ( REE/PME) or Mechanical Engineer ( PME)
  • Experience in facilities and/or construction management
  • Experience with direct reports in union collective bargaining units
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
  • Collaborative and team oriented
  • Building and accreditation requirements for DoD ICD-705 SCIF labs
  • Experience coaching and collaborating with multiple trades
  • Managing or working with or under a collective bargaining unit agreement
  • Experience with conflict resolution in the work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety programs and initiatives including sustainability projects such as energy and water conservation programs
  • Well-verse in the operation and maintenance of HVAC system, generator, electrical distribution system, fire protection system, building maintenance or project management
  • Active experience maintaining facilities and construction projects within a high volume manufacturing environment

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
