The Senior Technical Manager role plays a crucial role in leading this charge, ensuring minimal delay during execution by closely aligning with our strategic partners. This role will be pivotal in driving the enterprise and business strategy, meeting the high expectations of our customers, employees, and shareholders.
•Collaborate closely with PMs and act as a point of contact for resolving critical issues that may hinder the delivery of the applications you manage.

•Work with Finance/Technology Contracts & Commercial teams to ensure that operational costs are well understood and appropriately forecasted for current and next financial year.

•Facilitate collaborative sessions with key collaborators, providing mentorship on achieving desired outcomes.

•Build, maintain, and publish technical information for your portfolio, ensuring up-to-date documentation is available.

•Produce and manage a backlog of improvements, changes, and fixes for your portfolio, prioritizing tasks effectively.

•Attend Technical Review Group and Change Advisory Board forums, providing expert mentorship.

•Chair stand-ups and forums with business & support teams, ensuring seamless project delivery.

  • Has a good understanding of Service Management specifically a qualification in ITIL and strong understanding of Release Management as part of that.
  • Provides expertise and mentorship on technical aspects of the platforms and managing their performance and change.
  • Acts as the main point of contact between Technology teams/App suppliers/partners and essential collaborators from the business.
  • Collaborating with collaborators to define the application roadmap and strategic direction.
  • Improves and supports application platforms, defining requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Works with internal and external partners to meet business needs.
  • Ensures the security and integrity of the application platforms.
  • Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drives innovation and improvements in application platform performance and capabilities.
