Join Collins Aerospace as a Senior Manager, Contracts, and play a vital role in managing large, complex, and sometimes sensitive contracts across various projects. This remote role allows you to draft, negotiate, and oversee contract documents in alignment with both business objectives and government guidelines. Youll provide guidance on legal issues, manage proposal preparations, and interface with key internal and external stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, youll have the chance to mentor junior staff and drive process improvements that enhance department performance.
 

In this position, you will be the go-to expert for navigating complex contractual matters, including risk assessment, intellectual property, and data rights, while managing domestic and international projects. Youll learn to work with diverse contract types, honing your negotiation and communication skills through real-world challenges and bi-weekly training opportunities. What YOU Will Do:

  • Drafts, generates, interprets and manages large, complex contracts in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives
  • Independently supports the Program Team to coordinate input during the proposal and contract process​
  • Manages the analysis and preparation of contract documentation to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Coaches and guides junior professionals and reviews their work to ensure output is of quality and in accordance with business objectives
  • Leads proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
  • Manages complex contracts
  • Advises and represents the Program Team on contractual matters
  • Creates proposals, negotiates and executes contracts
  • Maintains historical contract records

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master of Business Administration or Juris Doctorate
  • Extensive experience with U.S. Government contracts, including FAR and DFARS
  • Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a United States Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
