Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Bangalore has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Officer – Stores, This position works closely with the Production, SCM, and Maintenance Admin Quality & PPC. Should be able to work hands on in the area of part FG & RM and should be able to manage Stores team & should have Extensive Knowledge on Aerospace Manufacturing

Essential Responsibilities

This role is key to ensuring the Magellan stores in line with the FG & RM. It is the 1st point of contact with the FG & RM.

• Responsible for receipt of materials. Maintain proper records of stores
• Make arrangement for proper storage of Raw materials and finished goods and issue Raw materials to production departments
• Issue of materials and tools to production in within specified timeline.
• Maintain Inventory management.
• Issue purchase requisition to the purchase department in time.
• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering the stores.
• Periodic Physical Inventory verification.
• Keep stores clean, tidy.
• Prevention of Goods (RM, Consumables or Finish Goods).
• Responsible for 5S in Stores (RM & Finish).
• Protecting materials from damage and deterioration.
• Securing the stores from pilfering, theft and fire.
• Liasioning with SEZ officials & Forwarders.

Skills

1. Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills required.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and MS
3. Present Project updates during customer weekly conference calls
4. Production take over planning in co-ordination with CFT
5. Continuous monitoring of project progress and ensure on time Execution
6. Coordinating for internal, external and customer audits
7. Able to co-ordinate rate readiness assessments, capacity analysis and material, delivery line of balance
8. Able to perform & utilize project planning, risk mitigation and other program management tools
9. Beneficial to have exposure in working with Boeing & Airbus directly

Position Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Diploma (Mech/Electronics) (With 6-10 years’ Experience Min in manufacturing industry)
• Extensive Knowledge on Aerospace Manufacturing.
• Should have Experience in Handling Team
