Raytheon - Advance Product Solutions (APS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) - (Senior Manager, Program Management) to manage a production program within the Electro-Optic Infrared Solutions (EOIR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
What You Will Do
Define program tasking/milestones and monitor adherence to program budgets, plans, cost, schedule, and technical performance
Manage profit and loss, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and execution, and program Estimate at Completions (EACs)
Lead by example and champion program management best practices for production
Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between customers and other performing parties
Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer
Support proposal activities in support of on-contract growth and adjacent opportunities supporting the portfolio
Change management, proposing and executing constructive changes
Interface with stakeholders and government customers
Travel, up to 20, to participate in domestic business engagements with customers, partners, and teammates
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) preferred)
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Program Management or a relevant discipline (Program Management, Project Management, Capture Management, Material Program Management, Cost Account Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Engineering, etc)
Experience in capturing new business/program(s), proposals, and customer engagement
Experience working with Risk and Opportunity Management, Earned Value Management
Experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, and/or administrative functions
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
An active and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstrated experience of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
Experience with development and application of integrated master plan and schedule,
Experience working with Program Manager Best Practices; to include early capture milestones (strategy, bid approval, etc)
Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve problems, quickly and efficiently
Completion of Program Management Level 4 certification within 12 months of start date
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
