We seek a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager for the SouthPAN Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) program. As our Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing the current Southern Positioning Augmentation Network (SouthPAN) contract while expanding our NavSys portfolio in international spanets. You will lead a multidisciplinary team in developing, implementing, and managing advanced SBAS that enhance the accuracy, availability, and integrity of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals in the SouthPAN (Australia and New Zealand) region.
In this role you will….
• Lead and manage the SouthPAN SBAS program, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Develop program schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure completion of objectives
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and external stakeholders, to ensure program success
• Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Foster relationships with Australia and New Zealand government agencies, industry partners, and customers to promote collaboration and transparency
• Prepare and present program updates to senior management and stakeholders highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic direction
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the program lifecycle
• Engage across NSS, Space, and other Business Areas to leverage solutions and drive commonality and technology evolution
• Identify and lead detailed analyses and study efforts to define future mission needs. Ensure a smooth transition of program wins, technology insertions and central activities to execution
• Regular executive interface with customer and mission partners, maintaining routine contacts and effective communications with multiple customer sets; represent Lockheed Martin efforts at industry conferences
• Lead and develop SBAS talent to support the strategy and execution
• Program consultant to support global SBAS new business opportunities
Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near one of Lockheed Martin Space facilities listed below and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
• Program Management or equivalent experience managing a complex P&L functional assignment with demonstrated ability to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives
• Proven prior experience across multiple phases of the lifecycle
• Experience as a CAM or with earned value management principles
• Prior Program Management, IRAD, or CRAD execution experience
• Experience with risk and opportunity management
• Experience with integrated planning
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership capabilities and performance, program management experience, customer familiarity
• Proven track record of establishing relationships with customers and other stakeholders
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with senior leadership, customers, and stakeholders
• Must have the ability to travel extensively (up to 50)
Desired Skills:
• Strong grasp of various Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) implementations (like WAAS, EGNOS, or MSAS), their operational principles, key components (such as ground stations and geostationary satellites), and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios, such as aviation, agriculture, or geospatial services
• Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to GNSS and SBAS
• PMP or similar project management certification
• In-country international experience with US Allies
• Strong executive presence; experience with technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk
• Experience with running an organization in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple geographically disperse office
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near our Littleton, CO or Herndon, VA facility and will be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $146,800 - $281,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
