As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist Lead here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for overseeing and coordinating the shipping and receivingoperations at our Dayton, OH location. You will play a crucial role in ensuringthe efficient flow of goods and materials within our supply chain network. Yourleadership and expertise will contribute to maintaining a seamless flow ofproducts, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chainefficiency.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of our supply chainoperations. You will be responsible for managing the shipping and receivingteam, coordinating transportation methods, optimizing warehouse space, andensuring timely deliveries. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt tochanging demands will be essential in maintaining the highest level of customersatisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate shipping andreceiving operations, including loading and unloading of trucks, verifyingincoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Optimize warehouse space utilizationand implement efficient storage and organization methods.
• Monitor and maintain compliance withsafety and security regulations in the shipping/receiving area.
• Identify areas for processimprovement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize inventory management systemsto track and manage inventory levels.
• Resolve any shipping/receivingdiscrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in using SAP.
