The Senior Associate Configuration Manager is responsible for ensuring that products are identified to a baseline design configuration and changes are controlled and accounted for in accordance with contractual requirements and Company policies and procedures.  These positions interpret contractual requirements for Configuration Management to ensure compliance. 

Essential Functions:

• Applicable codes, regulations and specifications; industry standards for Configuration Management; and applicable customer requirements
• Product Lifecycle Management tools
• Use of computer systems to produce data, analysis and reports and applicable software programs
• Contract Deliverable Data Practices
• Design practices, manufacturing techniques and inspection requirements
• Principles of business system analysis, including the analysis of procedures, equipment and methods
• Principles and practices of producing effective project documentation, including business functions, technical systems and processes
• Customers’ current business processes
• Systematic approach to problem solving

Qualifications:

• Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Existing US security clearance preferred. Candidate must be able to obtain a clearance if not currently cleared.
• Prepare contractually required data submittals
• Read and interpret drawings and related specifications
• Experience with managing software development and software change control
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit complete content of engineering change proposals
