OnsiteCollins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Manufacturing/Operations to lead and shape the long-term strategic direction for a key business unit. In this role, you will oversee a direct team of 5 experienced professionals, driving both short- and medium-term operational plans with a focus on enhancing productivity and performance. As a leader, you will tackle moderately complex challenges while influencing policies and procedures across various job areas. Youll also play a critical role in driving production innovation, optimizing work scheduling, and improving overall efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by setting the direction for both immediate tactical needs and long-term operational success.
What You Will Do
- Ensure a Safe environment for employees and compliance to EH&S policies
- Oversees and ensures that we have the resources to meet customer demand all quality-related tasks for the unit or shift are completed and documented to meet established quality standards.
- Leads cost reduction initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost-effectiveness within the unit or shift.
- Manages scheduling to ensure seamless operations aligned with production timelines and goals.
- Oversees the sequencing of work, including build and delivery processes, to optimize resource use and maintain smooth operations.
- Help leading efforts to resolve material planning issues and partner up with Supply Chain to resolve SC & Logistics issues, ensuring the availability of necessary resources for uninterrupted operations.
- Sets performance objectives and directs the unit’s productivity to achieve high levels of efficiency and output.
- Drives production innovation, including the implementation of additive manufacturing technologies, to enhance production capabilities.
- Collaborates with customers to understand their needs and concerns, ensuring delivery of high-quality services that meet customer expectations.
- Coach, develop and promote talent
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience in leading and/or mentoring a team
- 5+ Years experience in a Manufacturing environment
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in leading the execution of long-term strategies (3+ years)
- Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven experience presenting to large groups and leadership
- Capability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
