Have you considered what it may be like to work at P&W? We have an exciting opportunity for an F135 International Security Senior Manager located in East Hartford, CT. The Senior Manager will provide security oversight to the P&W F135 International Security Team of security professionals currently supporting the F135 International Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) facilities and F135 Assembly Facility. The selected candidate will be assigned to Pratt & Whitneys Government Security Compliance (GSC) team and report directly to the Associate Director, F135 Security.
What You Will Learn
- Participate in the F135 Security mission, ensuring compliance with international program security requirements.
- Provide guidance and coordination for all requirements outlined in the USG-approved Technology Control plan.
- Work closely with F-35 Partner and FMS locations to develop and sustain compliant security programs with international security teams.
- Apply security and program-specific knowledge to effectively counsel and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee a team conducting security inspections with multiple USG organizations and foreign governments, fostering continuous improvement in the security program.
- Travel Required 25 including both domestic and international travel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- B.A./B.S. Degree required.
- 10 years of Security industry, government or military experience, or 7 years of security industry, government or military experience with an advanced degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Familiarization with NIST National Institute of Standards and Technology and experience with development and implementation of security standard operating procedures.
Qualifications We Prefer
- M.A./M. S or MBA is preferred
- Active Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security clearance.
- Active U.S Secret or higher DoD Security clearance
- Experience / familiarity with the Department of Defense Manuals and Instructions
- Basic understanding of government contracts and export control requirements as it relates to the ITAR/EAR.
- Knowledge of or direct experience working with jet engine production or depot operations

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
