What Will You Be Doing?
Ensure proper distribution and behavior of all Frontier fare products. Set forth coding conventions in host reservation system and fares clearing house to achieve desired fare functionality. Participate in communication between Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, Distribution, E-Commerce, Marketing and Corporate Communications with respect to fare filings, promotions and contracts. Assist in all pricing and fares management systems as guided by team.
Essential Functions
- Ensure that all Frontier flight operations are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with all applicable FARS, contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Assist Sr. Director, System Operations Control with command-and-control of day-to-day operations.
- Monitor all flight and operational activity, coordinating and implementing recovery plans as necessary. Manage irregular operations strategic planning and communications.
- Examines and recommends changes to improve the quality and efficiency of the operation. Creates, communicates and executes operational plans aimed at preventing disruptions.
- Manage revenue-based decisions, including cancellations, downgrades and significant delays which result in passenger disruption.
- Monitor daily performance. Facilitate briefings and communication for senior management and all operational groups, advising of significant problems/issues jeopardizing operational efficiency. Acts as liaison to senior management regarding day-to-day operations.
- Provide effective leadership within SOC, promoting all corporate and operational objectives.
- Responsible for supervising SOC managers, insuring the proper execution of their assigned duties.
- Assist with management of all SOC areas, insuring they are functioning as one with communication and lines of authority maintained, especially during irregular operations.
- Assist in the recruitment process and hiring of System Operations Control personnel. Aid and recommend in the discipline and termination process as needed. Provide assistance and recommendations for the coaching, counseling and discipline of SOC personnel.

- Support organizational policies and senior leadership directives through productive analysis and constructive suggestions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in large/major carrier (Part 121) airline operations and SOC/OCC experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Budget management, labor relations and project management skills preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make quick, yet well-informed, decisions
- Excellent communication skills, include ability to successfully interact with airport authorities, regulatory agencies and executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills which allow for the direction of SOC staff in executing operational plans
- Highly self-motivated, able to handle multiple, high-profile tasks calmly
- Ability to work under high-stress conditions, maintaining an example of calm and professionalism
- Proven ability to make optimal, balanced decisions during high stress irregular situations
- Attention to detail
- Understanding, familiarity with SABRE Air Center operational software
