Job Description SummaryThe Program Manager leads the cross-functional team to deliver on all program deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. The Program Manager influences the teams ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Additionally, the Program Manager ensures projects within the program are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. High levels of judgement are required to achieve desired outcomes.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain overall oversight of program execution to assure product excellence, timely completion, financial performance, and compliance
Develop overall program strategy and manage implementation across the program
Provide status, recommendations, and escalate issues to GE Senior Management as required
Manage proposals or updates for incremental and/or follow-on effort
Facilitate interface between various internal orgs
Define team roles and responsibilities for assigned personnel
Manage implementation of full Earned Value Management process and associated reporting and recovery plans
Manage program schedule, including critical path, via the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Identify resource issues/gaps and coordinate with managers to rectify
Overall responsibility for quality of customer reports/SDRLs
Identify and mitigate programmatic issues pertaining to security, information technology, and facilities
Coordinate across other GE programs that impact or are impacted by this effort
Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Serve as primary POC with customer, ensuring timely, professional, and productive communications and integration
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business, finance, manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, and/or project management
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Aviation /Aerospace Community
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics

Proven experience supporting broad cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Previous experience with the DoD customer and processes
Knowledge of GE Aerospace products
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
