As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines:
- You are eligible for health, vision, and dental coverage as well as short-term/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance policies. If selected, these are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire. - You are eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan, which would also be effective the first day of the month following your date of hire. The Company match is up to 6. - You are eligible to receive paid sick leave. You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours.
- You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1st following your date of hire.
- You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service.
- You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment.
Additional information:
- The starting annual salary for this position is between $43,888.00 and $65,000.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive an annual increase of up to 2.50 or more.

Summary of Essential Duties
- Interact directly with our customers, ground handling staff, and management.
- Serve as a knowledgeable ticket counter, gate, baggage, and ramp-handling support person.
- Responsible for marshaling aircraft, servicing aircraft, assisting with aircraft pushback, towing, and deicing.
- Greet and assist all customers in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner. Assist with resolve customer concerns as needed.
- Provide check-in assistance, ticketing changes, re-booking of itineraries and special service requests for passengers.
- Checking, accepting, loading, and unloading of passenger baggage.
- Boarding/deplaning flights, escorting passengers to and from aircraft as needed, assisting passengers with special needs, and monitoring customer safety during this process.
- Provide accurate gate, flight arrival and departure information, as well as answer general inquires.
- Assist unaccompanied minors.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of policies and processes pertaining to unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, hazardous materials, and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide clear and accurate communication to passengers, agents, flight crews and vendors.
- Responsible for always maintaining the safety and security of the ramp.
- Observe safe ground-handling procedures and maintenance of ground service equipment, including the performance of equipment checks.
- Comply with all safety procedures, airline policies, and Company standard operating procedures.
- Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage, ensure and maintain the integrity of a safe operation
- Promptly communicate any event or challenges involving the local operation with management and/or the Systems Operations Control Center.
- Respond to and take proactive measures to minimize irregular operations and customer inconvenience.
- Completing required reports and audits to satisfy Company and regulatory requirements
- Investigating and analyzing problems [e.g., damage to GSE or aircraft, Letters of investigation (LOIs)]. With respect to a finding, formulate a response and possible corrective action.
- Oversight of all Cross-Utilized Airport Agents including, but not limited to, on-the-job training, coaching/counseling, attendance, scheduling, and providing corrective action if needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
