Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Ensuring that relationships with premium customers are established and facilitating the recognition of top customers
- Supporting central process and product development
- Ensuring that the appearance and attitude of all personnel corresponds to standards
- Being present during operations and monitoring performance of all parties involved
- Developing and implementing local procedures to meet central process and product requirements
- Ensuring the steering, monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of all station related processes
- Fostering safety, security and quality awareness and ensuring proper training standards, high service attitude and competence availability
- Managing the general organization of the station, including but not limited to IT, system accesses, accounting, filing, training, databases and other
- Applying and maintaining the Safety Management System
- Having functional authority over the LHG personnel and disciplinary authority
- Reporting operational irregularities
- Representing the LHG towards internal and external partners
Requirements
The ideal Station Manager should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED is required
- Bachelors degree required
- Bachelor requirement may be replaced by 5-7 years of work experience in Ground Operations
- 3-5 years of work experience in ground operations is required
- Leadership experience required
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills required
- Knowledge of German and/or French desirable
- PC and airline specific supported software/tools including all MS Office programs
- Industry knowledge
- Individual LHG operator’s specifics
- Other airlines or Service Partner
- Knowledge of airport procedures and processes
- Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to align station operations with the organization’s strategic goals
- Ensures team responsibilities are clear and supports them in achieving goals
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
