Description: You will be the Subcontract Manager Senior for the JASSM program development and IRAD Supply Chain Team. Our team is responsible for driving the development and delivery of critical hardware components, working closely with multiple stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager Senior, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and management of subcontracted hardware, from requirements definition to delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as a subject matter expert, driving procurement solutions that meet program needs.
• Oversee the performance of multiple subcontractors, including sub-tier suppliers, to ensure timely and quality delivery of hardware components.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production Operations, Quality, and Program Management teams to develop and execute procurement strategies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure affordability and customer satisfaction.
• Travel domestically as needed to support program requirements (anticipated occasional travel).

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Negotiation experience
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Experience working in a collaborative/team environment
- Ability to analyze and organize supplier data for analysis purposes
- Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts
- Working knowledge of standard US DOD contract types

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
