Description: You will be the Subcontract Manager, Staff for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for managing major supplier relationships, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance on multiple development efforts.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for serving as the primary interface between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, driving procurement excellence, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Leading cross-functional teams to achieve procurement goals
• Managing the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout
• Preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, evaluating proposals, and issuing subcontracts
• Negotiating pricing, contractual terms, and lead times with suppliers
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Analyzing supplier performance and costs using Earned Value analysis
• Maintaining accurate purchasing documents and data
• Driving cost reduction initiatives and supporting program meetings

Basic Qualifications:
-Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
-Ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives
-Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
Desired Skills:
-Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
-Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
-Experience managing complex development subcontracts
-Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Supplier Management Teams
-Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP / and MFC Work Instructions
-Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry
-Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P) and SCNavigator
-Experience with Export Control Procedures and International Suppliers

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
