THE WORK

As a Subcontract Program Manager, you will be responsible for all cost, schedule, and technical performance aspects of subcontracts and suppliers within the ARCI Production program. You will lead the Subcontract Management Team and act as the Supply Chain lead for material activity, leveraging our Material Program Managers. This role involves both on-site work and telework, with travel to suppliers as necessary. Position is highly visible within Lockheed Martin and Customer leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a programmatic business rhythm as the SMT and Supply Chain Lead to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Leverage supply chain metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor overall performance and efficiency.
• Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee all subcontractor/material budgets and funding allocations / limitations.
• Resolve issues that create risks to subcontractor and supplier performance, while also identifying and exploiting opportunities.
• Manage customer-driven changes and their impact on subcontractors / suppliers.
• Manage the Earned Value baselines of subcontractors.
• Oversee the inputs, forecasts, and performance to plan for material to ensure the program’s Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash plans are met.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive Experience in Subcontract Management and Material Procurement Management, including from RFP generation, Statement of Work creation through closeout
- Experienced in fixed price, cost reimbursable and time and material subcontracting
- Experience in large scale development and material procurement intensive programs
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate large and small scale subcontractor scope and all aspects of the subcontract
- Well versed in Risk and Opportunity management
- Proven skills in building relationships with programs, subcontractor and functional stakeholders. Have shown ability to be effective at maintaining these relationships with key stakeholders through challenging issues and/or complex problems
- Demonstrable experience managing programs and/or subcontractor performance from red to green status
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse subcontract management teams made up of representatives from multiple disciplines
- Must be able to support travel to work potential subcontractor/supplier issues
- Have personally generated and presented Sourcing related status and reporting metrics, including supplier risk based indicator metrics, which provide insight into supplier cost, schedule, technical status
- Proven flexibility to be able to multi-task and be able to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Well versed in FAR/DFAR (or international equivalents), and LM Acquisition Procedures
- Experience with the Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA)
- Experience as Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

- Previous LM experience
-10+ years of progressive SPM experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
