Responsibilities
Position Summary
Supervisor of Inflight Reliability and Administrative Support is responsible for oversight and administration of Flight Attendant attendance and reliability program. This position also oversees crew base administrative functions including oversight of Air Ops Specialists. This is a high-energy, attention to detail position, responsible for providing essential support to the Inflight team.
Job Responsibilities
- Support Inflight Department with consistent compliance of PSA’s Attendance and Reliability Policy for Flight Attendants
- Track and monitor FA attendance and provide feedback to Inflight management
- Develop tools and implement automation to improve and streamline process and drive efficiency
- Identify trends and initiatives to drive continuous improvement of reliability policies and processes
- Assists Leadership by providing detailed Reliability summary reports. Hosting regular scheduled meetings with leadership to discuss any outstanding issues
- Lead Air Ops Specialists team by fostering commitment, trust, and support to drive team engagement
- Oversee and provide support for all job responsibilities of Air Ops Specialists at each crew base
- Represents Air Operations through communication/relationship building with TSA, DOT, Airport Authority, Ground Operations partners and vendors
- Support Inflight team in investigations and any documentation related to attendance and reliability
- Daily review absences and points balances. Adjust point accruals as necessary per policy
- Prepare work summaries for Inflight Management for attendance and term reviews
- Provide administrative support to Inflight Management as needed
- Give work directions, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
- Partner with other departments including Crew Scheduling, Crew Pay, Training, Flight Operations and Security/Safety
- Draft communications to Flight Attendants on reliability process/policy changes or administrative function changes
- SMS Intelex management -read and evaluate In Flight irregular operations reports as forwarded, in a timely manner and respond, as necessary
- Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required
- High School Education or Equivalent
- At least 2 years administrative support experience
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Previous Supervisory or Management Experience
- Previous experience with attendance and reliability
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
Preferred
- Previous experience in airline operations
- Knowledge of PSA time and attendance contractual requirements
- Knowledge of K2 programs, Tableau, data visualization tools and Crewtrac systems
- Knowledge of SMS processes
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Experience with Apple iPad iOS
Additional Information
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Assistant Director of Performance and Inflight Reliability
Supervisory Responsibility: This position will have Direct Reports
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
