As the Test Equipment Solutions (TES) Business Development Senior Staff, youll play a key role in shaping the future of Automatic Test Systems (ATS) business, driving growth and success in a dynamic and competitive landscape.

THE WORK

The Test Equipment Solutions Business Development, Senior Staff is a pivotal role within Lockheed Martins Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business. This position is responsible for formulating and executing the business strategy for the LM-CORE™ and the Person Portable Tester product lines. This role will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, managing the opportunity pipeline, and fostering customer engagement to drive business expansion domestically and internationally. Business Development activities involve fostering customer intimacy with the Naval Air Systems Command PMA260, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) ATS Division (WNY), the Joint Program Office for the Joint Strike Fighter, and numerous exchanges between Lockheed Martin Business Units.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5-10 Years’ experience on defense acquisitions from industry or customer perspective
• Experience with business development efforts such as opportunity qualification, proposals, campaigns, and strategy planning
• Prior experience with Department of Defense or Government source selections
• Prior experience Leading Cross functional teams on programs, proposals, or government source selections
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken with emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite
• High degree of flexibility and ability to travel worldwide
• Demonstrated customer relations skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret international customer needs and requirements and relate them back to pragmatic processes
• Awareness of the DoD budgeting and acquisition process
• Team Player – effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives
Desired Skills:
• 3-5 Years’ experience with Automatic Test Systems (ATS)
• 10-15+ Years Experience working for the Department of Defense in Acquisition Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
