The Role
Interested candidates need to bring an ability to work within and across enterprise teams, be energised by driving continuous improvement, hold either sound understanding of project management, systems engineering, data analysis and modelling, maintenance program development and improvement, or an ability to deliver within a complex and dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide key Transition communications and stakeholder management within the OPV Enterprise and monitor the delivery of compliant capability outcomes to contracted and internally specified standards.
- Support development of and maintain the:
- OPV Transition framework;
- OPV Transition Working Group Terms of Reference, schedule, meeting minutes, and action register;
- OPV Transition Plan and RAACI;
- Stakeholder relationships aligned to the OPV Enterprise Management Plan.
- Support the establishment of a fit for purpose support system for OPV’s when required by:
- Facilitating the transition of acquisition artefacts, physical items and responsibilities from SEA1180 PO to the OPVSPO;
- Monitor and report status and risk of transition activities, where required provide recommendations to the Transition Working Group and the OPVSPO;
- Collate relevant in-service lessons/observations for communication to Acquisition.
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
- Proven in-depth experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams, to include organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments.
- Strong communication and software system skills, coupled with the ability to present professionally to various stakeholder groups directly or in virtual meeting forums.
- A background in defence industry project management enhanced by knowledge in military systems, sustainment and capability lifecycle management and operational programs will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance.
