Job Description SummaryAs Website Manager, you will take the responsibility for the GE Aerospace website including content design and implementation, site traffic and performance analysis, and ensuring functionality and efficiency of the site and web server; enabling GE Aerospace to have a world-class website that perfectly meets the needs of the business and its external audiences.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Communications team and internal clients to create and update web pages with all relevant content including product data, news, images, articles, business information and links.
- Ensure all associated digital channels (blogs, newsletter subscriptions, customer portals) are connected and synchronized with the website.
- Lay out content and maintain the design of the website to ensure pages are optimized and on brand. Update all content and metadata to drive the best possible search engine optimization (SEO).
- Examine and analyse website traffic, provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Fix links, troubleshoot website issues and ensure pictures are optimised and appearing properly.
- Optimize the user-experience by testing the website to see if there are any parts that are difficult to use or could be improved.
- Work with agencies and vendors to continually improve the websites design and functionality. Make the website world-class.
- Work with the DT team to ensure the web servers, hardware and software are operating accurately.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, Web Design, or related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience with front-end development, web graphics knowledge, website content management applications, and international web protocols and standards.
- At least 3 years’ experience in copywriting and/or communications.
