Job Summary
The Advanced Airborne System (AAS) production program is looking for a Program Operations Manager (POM) to support the Radar Hardware Integrated Product Team (IPT).
The POM will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) and will be responsible for leading all aspects of program execution including cost, schedule, and technical performance. The POM will lead a multi-disciplined team across multiple factories; coordinate with functional organizations, and a diverse set of key suppliers to meet program objectives. The selected individual will be responsible for regular customer interface (internal and external).
What You Will Do:
Coordinates and integrates the performance of multifunctional teams and sub-contractors to execute the program on time and within budget
Focuses, evaluates, motivates and rewards the multifunctional teams, enabling them to achieve desired results
Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations.
Interacts with customer on status and performance and anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business
Responsible for supporting growth of the program and its product(s)
Raytheon Program Management Certification Level 6 or ability to obtain in 12 months in accordance with RP-248
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience with cost and schedule management and/or developing financial forecast
Prior work experience with PRISM and/or SAP
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Control Account Management
Technical knowledge of RADAR/EO-IR systems development or similar technologies
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time critical requirements
Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building/maintenance and customer relationships.
Strong team building skills to create and inspire a matrix team to a common goal
Prior work experience with PRISM/SAP across multiple factories in support of managing and reporting on multiple production hardware baselines in a dynamic environment with concurrent production and sustainment contracts
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience building and leading multi-disciplined, cross-functional, matrixed team including members from Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Mission Assurance
Ability to monitor, interact and course correct production teams to support customer goals and requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to customers and senior leadership
Experience in applying Best Practices; preferably knowledge and experience with PM Best Practices
High level of proficiency with MS Office and Project tools, comprehension of Manufacturing Requirements Planning and PRISM.
Raytheon Level 6 Program Management Certification or equivalent.
Understanding of the military operations community and logistics support structures
Proven experience in production and life cycle sustainment
Experience in all contract types including FFP, FPIF, CPFF and T&M
Strong working knowledge of business and project management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Estimate At Complete (EAC), financial forecasting, Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
