Air Charter Service’s dedicated aircraft leasing team has over 100 years’ experience in aircraft lease management providing a wide range of bespoke ACMI and leasing solutions to airlines around the world. Due to ongoing expansion, the team are looking for an aviation enthusiast to join the team in their Gatwick based office as an ACMI Trainee Leasing Broker.

Job Description

Supporting the VP of Aircraft Leasing and the wider leasing team, the main purpose of this role working alongside the growing Short Term leasing team responding to short notice ACMI requirements from both existing and new clients managing their requests from initial enquiry all the way through to completion.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• To expand the global reach of ACS Leasing short term operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients and suppliers
• Proactively create and develop ACMI leasing opportunities, pre-empting demand and peak periods, through calls, emails, events
• Locating aircraft availability and spaneting this to the client spanet
• Supporting the VP of Aircraft Leasing to proactively respond and work on client requests providing comprehensive solutions, managing the whole process, from initial request through to contract.
• Supporting the ACMI Leasing team globally when required.
• Being part of the H24 ACMI leasing team providing out of hours support when required.
• Learn proactively to gain a full in depth understanding of lease requirements
• Travel opportunities across the globe when required in line with business needs
• Maintaining our CRM database with prospective clients and updated current client details.
• Keep up to date with industry changes, procedures and requirements

Additional Information

This role is paying 35,000 per annum, starting salary +10 Uncapped Commission

• 22 days’ holiday per year (increasing to 25 after 1 year of service & length of service)

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong interest in Aviation
• Experienced working in aviation or for an airline is desirable
• Fluency in both English and a second language is preferrable
• Clear and confident communicator both verbally and written
• Ability to work under pressure and often towards tight deadlines
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving ability
• Confident working towards KPIs
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
