Position Summary
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for Lord India finance activities. He / She will also be responsible for month end reporting, budgeting, standard costing, inventory SOX compliances and supporting on preparing data / presentation for the decision making. Responsibilities
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Identify the major, specific end results that the position is responsible for achieving. (Not statements of day-to-day details, duties or responsibilities.)
- Perform month-end closing processes to allow for meaningful and accurate financial statements, reconciliation, and consolidation processes, as well as reviewing and analyzing the actual results vs forecast.
- Ensure group reporting for Lord and deal with the group requirements.
- Support in Annual Budgeting process for LORD India.
- Verification of Sales Discount and Sales commission workings prepared by sales team based on agreements with the customers for Lord India business.
- Review of monthly standard tasks like, AAA reports, Backlog margin reports, IC margin review, and other standard reports as per checklist.
- Support in preparation of POP finance slides for Lord India.
- Preparation of Annual standard cost of raw material and finished products and set the standard cost correct.
- Support statutory and cost audit of Lord India.
- Weekly and Monthly preparation of the forecast and monitor performance vs actual.
- Work on improving the processes for smooth business support and requirements.
- Liaise with the Sales and Ops team and work on strong SOP processes for the forecast and work on improving forecast accuracy for areas like GM, PII etc.
- Support to IT Activities i.e. coordinating with SBO support team considering requirements of end users.
- Liaise with the Lord USA team and provide them analysis when needed.
- Work on HFM for extracting reports and also use BI tools.
- Adhere to SOX and US GAPP compliances for Parker and Lord location.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS: (The requirements that an individual must absolutely possess to perform the essential functions of the job.)
- Qualified Cost Accountant / Chartered Accountant with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, costing, accounting.
- Experience in US GAPP and SOX compliances is preferred.
- Experience of handling internal and external audit.
- Computer efficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point.
- Knowledge of ERP like JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle.
- Good knowledge of accounting theory, principles & practices. (India Statutory & US GAAP).
- Good communication and in (written & verbal) and decision making skills.
- Motivated, ownership mindset, Self-starter with strong works ethic.
- Hands on approach, patient and willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- Qualified Cost Accountant / Chartered Accountant with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in finance, costing, accounting.
