Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a multi-functional Additive Manufacturer for a position in Fayetteville, NC. Desired qualifications/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Experience with 3D Printing, Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM), Rapid Prototyping (RP), layered manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing

Coordinate and manage manufacturing processes in shop.

Maintain broad knowledge of product design, manufacturing, and assembly techniques.

Develop and implement product quality standards.

Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency.

Communicate with customers/vendors to understand and determine product specifications.

Specify and arrange production equipment, materials, and parts based on product specifications.

Coordinate with design and operations teams to develop manufacturing plans for new products to achieve mission cost and quality objectives.

Develop standard procedures to improve manufacture processes and to reduce overall cost.

Deliver products within approved timelines and budget.
Basic Qualifications:
Working knowledge of common additive manufacturing processes and procedures.

Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Desired Skills:
Estimate resource requirements, workload assignment, production times and schedule for manufacturing processes.

Conduct regular project meetings with management and team members to track project status and progress.

Develop budgets for product manufacturing and upgrading processes.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
