JOB TITLE: Refueler

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Fuel Operations Manager:
Understanding and complying with operational, safety, and customer service requirements
Drive specialized vehicles safely
Fuel aircraft as requested.
Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
Perform daily quality assurance checks on fuel products and equipment
Maintain equipment in a clean and functional condition
Work responsibly and safely around hazardous chemicals
Work long hours outdoors
Work other operational duties as requested
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. High school diploma or general education degree
2. Three (3) to six (6) months in similar experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
3. Minimum of 18 years old
4. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
5. Must successfully complete the Company’s training programs.
6. Strong communication skills in English required, both verbal and written
7. Knowledge of simple arithmetic
8. Mechanical aptitude preferred, but not required
9. Must have a clear driving record for the past 3 years
10. Previous similar job experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have 3-5 years’ experience
Drivers license to drive heavy duty vehicles
Must be Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
Must have excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Must have/maintain a good driving record to Heavy Duty vehicles.
Must be able to pass a five background and criminal record check.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES

4. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
5. Requires medium to heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.
6. Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, pulling and pushing
7. Ability to work with heights
8. Ability to work with toxic chemicals, fumes and loud noises with proper protection
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Functions may be performed in variable weather and environmental conditions such as heat, heavy rain, loud engine noise, aircraft engine fumes.
Duties are performed primarily outdoors irrespective of weather or time of day.
Ability to work shifts including early mornings, late night, weekends and holidays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Obtain and retain refueler training certification as per industry standards and regulations requirements
2. Complete and maintain up to date aircraft / airline operator training as required
3. Safely and accurately conducting refueling operations in accordance with established policies and procedures
4. Prepare and complete required documentation properly and accurately as per procedures and policies
5. Adapt quickly to changing priorities/fast-paced environments
6. Work well alone and as part of a team
7. Work all shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
8. Reporting to work as scheduled.
9. Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
10. Perform basic Quality Control preventive testing and/or maintenance on vehicles and equipment as per industry standards and regulation requirements
